It's all about choices. The Hitchswing™ transforms rear vehicle accessibility, prioritizing flexibility and discarding limitations.

This innovative system integrates a secondary 2” receiver hitch connected to a swinging arm. Insert your preferred bike rack, cargo rack, or any accessory into the Hitchswing, pull the pin, and effortlessly swing the entire load away from your vehicle. Ta-da! Your rear hatch, tailgate, or door is now unhindered and open. No more compromising between hitch-mounted gear and convenient access to items in the back.

While hitch-mounted bike racks are a game-changer, they often impede impromptu hardware store runs. Similarly, hitch-mounted cargo racks are perfect for family road trips, but they usually entail a lengthy wait to access the back of the vehicle.

Specifications:

- The Hitchswing features the same secondary receiver as our Hitchgate™ line, with a tow rating of 7,500 lbs (max trailer weight) and 750 lbs (tongue weight). Always adhere to your vehicle's maximum limits.
- Dimensions: 30″ wide from hitch to pivot bolt, 3.5″ minimum depth from 1st hitch pin to the back of the support arm, 4.5″ to the next hitch pin hole. The Hitchswing support arm sits at hitch height, rising only 2.5″ above the receiver, while the swing-arm sits approximately 6″ above the support arm.
- Clearance requirements: Maintain 4.5″ from the center of the hitch pin hole rearward for compliance with the wedge lock system. Spare tire relocation or modification may be necessary for clearance.
- Weight limits: The farther your load extends from the Hitchswing, the lighter it needs to be. Loads within 3 feet of the Hitchswing have a max load of 250 lbs; extending beyond 4 feet reduces the limit to 150 lbs.

Fitment Notes:

- The rectangular support arm welded to the secondary hitch extends 2.5″ above the factory hitch and 30″ horizontally from your vehicle’s hitch.
- Hitchswing may interfere with factory back-up sensors and reduce the scope of vision of a back-up camera.
- Proper installation ensures the Hitchswing sits level with the inside of the hitch.

Maintenance Notice:

- Periodically tighten the pivot bolt with a torque wrench to at least 60-70 lbs every few months to prevent movement on the swing arm.
- Over time, replacement of Delrin washers and T-handle bushings may be required.

As with all Wilco Offroad products, the Hitchswing is proudly crafted in Austin, Texas, and includes a limited lifetime warranty.
