The Solo focuses on shedding weight, positioning itself 4" lower than the Hitchgate Classic/MAX. Aligned seamlessly with the vehicle’s receiver, it fits snugly into tight clearances, making it an excellent choice for vehicles like Sprinter, Renegade, and Subaru. This makes it particularly well-suited for weight-conscious vehicles.
Universally fitting Class III/2" hitch receivers, the Solo securely holds up to a 35" spare tire. Accessing your cargo is a breeze with its single latch pin, and its towing capacity stands at an impressive 7,500 lbs (max trailer weight) and 750 lbs (tongue weight). Keep in mind the weight limit of 150 lbs; if exceeded, consider opting for the Classic or Max models.
